Goat info:

Goats in Permaculture--The Permaculture Institute
This is a great site in general, but in particular, has a great page about the role of goats in permaculture, including a useful list of "Goat Pasture Plants" to keep your goat happy and healthy, fun pictures and a very pleasing site design. It is tailor-made for those of us in the New Mexico climate, but for folks from elsewhere, you will still be inspired. Recognizing the valuable symbiotic relationship between goats and the land and goats and other animals is a direct antidote to the reputation goats have for being destructive rascals! Read it and learn!

Hoegger Supply
Caprine Supply
Both these companies have a great catalog and are available to answer questions. Hoegger sells a magical Goat Serum that is great for weak kids or goats who just need a health boost; they also have a great mineral supplement and an herbal wormer that is a welcome alternative to intense chemical wormers.

Breastfeeding info:

My original Mother and Baby soaps and Mother and Baby lotion bars are a tribute to the nurturing and life-giving act of breastfeeding. Before I started my business, I was the chair of the Santa Fe Breastfeeding Task Force for six years, passionately working to promote and encourage breastfeeding. So here are some favorite links:

IFACT Canada
